Since being elected in 2021, Will Chen has built a record rooted in fiscal responsibility. As chair of the Finance Committee, he raised alarms early about looming deficits and successfully pushed for stronger reserve policies. Chen also supported budget amendments to protect city services while tightening finances when necessary. Running unopposed this year, Chen’s re-election is an affirmation of his pragmatic, results-oriented approach.
