For Everett SD School Board, Position 3
Appointed to the Everett School Board in 2025, Anna Marie Jackson Laurence has quickly become a steady hand in shaping the district’s budget and long-term planning. She’s helped expand early learning, strengthen multilingual programs, and improve career and technical education so that students are prepared for a wide range of paths after graduation.
A former Snohomish County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, Anna Marie brings a legal background that informs her focus on safety and accountability. She’s emphasized clear, enforceable protocols to protect both staff and students, while keeping a close eye on how every dollar is spent. Her work reflects a balance of equity, fiscal responsibility, and care for the students and families Everett schools serve.
Laurence is being targeted by heavy outside spending supporting her opponent.
For Everett SD School Board, Position 1
Roman Rewolinski joined the Everett School Board in 2023 after years of service on the district’s Fiscal Advisory Committee, where he helped evaluate budgets and recommend responsible adjustments. A certified public accountant and Navy veteran, he brings financial discipline and a sense of duty that are especially valuable during a time of tight budgets.
On the Board, Roman has supported investments in student safety, including stronger lockdown protocols and better staff training, while standing firm against censorship efforts like book bans. His approach combines accountability with compassion, keeping the district focused on both fiscal health and the well-being of students.
Rewolinski’s opponent is benefiting from an influx of outside spending very atypical of Everett School District races.
